Kettering | Headshots & Product Photos

What started as a need for a Baptism card eventually blossomed into a successful business.

Meet Elayne from Annunication Designs. I kept trying to come up with a way to introduce her, but I think she does it best in a description from her website:

"I'm a daughter of God, a wife, mother, teacher, engineer, and artist. I love creating practical items with Catholic touches. Some favorites: decaf coffee, chocolate, quiet mornings, and reading."

It is clear from working with Elayne that she is passionate about her Catholic faith, her husband, children, and her business. She works hard to try and make products that are sourced locally or within the United States, as well as having help with assembly sourced locally.

This commitment can be seen in her newest product, a Saint Water Reveal Book. While shooting, I got to learn more about the product, how it came to existence, and see the product up close. For someone who has a toddler, I have used water reveal book and love that all it needs is water. So, to see this concept reimagined as faith-based was so exciting to see.

Take a look yourself at this awesome product:

This is just one of several children's products Elayne has created and sells on her website. She also has handmade cards, t-shirts, and other household items, like hand towels.

It was such a joy to get to help showcase some of her items and capture some new headshots for Elayne.

If you haven't been to her website, make sure to check her out at: https://annunciationdesigns.com/

You can also find her on Instagram at: @annunciationdesigns and on Facebook, also under Annunication Designs.

“Mary showed complete trust in God by agreeing to be used as an instrument in his plan of salvation. She trusted him in spite of her nothingness because she knew he who is mighty could do great things in her and through her. Once she said “yes” to him, she never doubted. She was just a young woman, but she belonged to God and nothing nor anyone could separate her from him.” – St. Teresa of Calcutta"
